I am teaching Bible for the last 12 years. I have collected relevant material from various sources and compiled it into easy to understand Bible study lessons. Besides I have also posted my own writings in the form of teachings, reflections and prayers. Other inputs like pictures, maps, timelines, Bible reading record chart, etc are also provided. Material And Spiritual Throughout salvation history God has used material things to teach spiritual matters. It seems that God created these things in this manner so as to teach us about spiritual realities. The substances like water, salt and oil posses properties that clearly reflect spiritual realities. The gifts of the Holy Spirit can be classified into two categories. 1. Personal Gifts 2. Gifts of Service Personal Gifts These are also called as Isaiahian Gifts or Traditional Gifts and are listed in Isaiah 11:1-3 and are seven in number. The personal gifts are given to every person at the time of baptism. These gifts are given to help a person grow in holiness or to help a person to bear fruit. Although the gifts are present they have to be regularly stirred by prayer, study of scriptures and meditation.
